General: A Successful World Fair Trade Day!
After a week of pouring rain and cold wintry days, the sun came out to shine on 3 Fair Trade Organisations and a Fairtrade Licensee as Cape Town celebrated World Fair Trade Day at the Porter Estate Produce Market on Saturday, 8 May 2010.
The support we received from the public was immensely encouraging. Thank you to all who supported Fair Trade! Be on the lookout for more Fair Trade products at similar markets and if you don't see Fair Trade products, make sure you ask your local grocery store or craft shop to stock Fair Trade!
