General: Fairtrade and Climate Change

How African producers can benefit from sustainable adaptation strategies through the Fairtrade supply chain. 

Who: Producers, traders, buyers and their supporters who wish to see climate change adaptation projects and activities improve the position of farmers in Africa

What: FLO-CERT will present and discuss with participants some practical examples of its facilitation of adaptation projects and how similar initiatives may be applied in other Africa contexts AND Fairtrade Africa will present and discuss with participants their position on Climate Change towards COP17 Durban, South Africa. 

Why: Be part of policy discussions and practical projects that support African producers in the face of Climate Change and enhance their positions as trading partners through Fairtrade
