We share with you our final newsletter of 2011 and send with it greetings and well wishes for the festive season from the Fair Trade House in Cape Town. 

2011 has been a critical year for the Network as many changes were implemented, which you can read in the Chairman's report in the newsletter.  

The newsletter also includes articles from Alison Montgomery, who did her doctoral fieldwork in SA for 18 months in the Fairtrade winelands, as well as Malcolm Clark from Fairtrade London, who enjoyed a Fair Trade Tourism tour up the West Coast. 

Fair Mail August is out! Stay updated with news from the fair trade movement in South Africa. We're excited to tell you that Fair Trade Network (formerly known as Fair Trade South Africa) is undergoing a strategic review and will share our new objectives and strategic plan with all stakeholders at our Annual General Meeting on Thursday, 10 November 2011 at the Fountains Hotel. Join us afterwards for a network cocktail as well! 

Fair Mail is now produced bi-monthly with updates from the various fair trade systems in South Africa.

The December newsletter contains articles from the Fair Trade AGM and Conference, which took place in October, as well as news on networking events for Fairtrade wine and Fair Trade Tourism.
