Fair trade (2 words) is a movement that looks at achieving a more equal and sustainable trade and therefore refers to all initiatives that work to achieve it. 

 Fairtrade (1 word) is the most internationally recognised Certification Mark for fair trade and is owned by Fairtrade International (FLO e. V.). The Fairtrade Mark is applied on products that comply with the standards developed by FLO e. V.
