The Cooperation for Fair Trade in Africa (COFTA) does not certify members but is a membership organisation that focuses on the relationship between the business, its employees and the surrounding community. These Fair Trade Organisations produce craft, home decor, accessories, body products and even food stuff.
COFTA requires each member to:

• Pay a Fair Price
• Work with people who are marginalised
• Exchange greater equality and empowerment for all
• Protect children's rights
• Respect the environment
• Work to have long term impact
